Imported from Germany in June 2000.
Based on mare inspection results, Heling is one of the very top stallions in the Trakehner Verband. He is #1 in the breed for producing walk, and he is #2 for producing overall gaits (combined walk/trot/canter), and #2 for increasing on mare's height. His overall high marks led him to be featured in Trakehner Hefte - March 2000 edition. Heling is the sire of the 1999 Reserve Champion mare in Schleswig-Holstein. His sire, Bukephalos, was an international 3-day event horse, and is also the sire of the very successful stallion, Heinzelmann (Storyteller) - a top winning hunter, and sire of some of the winningest young line horses in Canada! Heinzelmann, showing in the Pre-green hunters, had recent championships at such shows as Lake Placid and Old Salem. Heling's grandsire, Consul, has been a leading Trakehner sire in Germany over the past two decades, with many of his offspring now competeing at Grand Prix dressage, as well as several higher level event horses. Heling's dam, Halima, is the dam of Heidsieck, a young 3 yr. old stallion who was one of the highest priced sale horses at the 2000 Klosterhof Medingen Auction - selling for 90,000 DM (about $45,000 US) . Heling is an amazing addition to the Galten Farms breeding program - he is undeniably one of the best stallions in the Trakehner breed today!!

March 16, 1990 - 17.0 hands, grey, by Hänsel, out of Aida, by (Händel).
In 1995-1996, his first year of competition, ABERDEEN competed in 23 classes in Second Level dressage, winning thirteen of them and topping the year as Second Level Champion Dressage Horse at Dressage at Lamplight in Illinois. Also, in his first year of competition, ABERDEEN competed in three training level events, each time placing in the top three. Since his sale to Dr. and Mrs. Kenneth Garber, Aberdeen has been competing as a hunter and doing very well under the name OYSTER POND. Check our news page to see some of his latest results! Although he has now been gelded it is still possible to breed to this "stallion", as we have stored a quantity of frozen semen. ABERDEEN offers one of the best sport horse pedigrees available in the world today. His dam, AIDA, was a top level Grand Prix jumper and competed for Canada under Jim Elder. His sire, HÄNSEL, was the winner of many A-circuit Hunter championships in the U.S. and also competed successfully at the Third Level dressage and at the preliminary level in 3-Day Eventing.

Association.
March 20, 1981 - 16.1 1/2 hands, grey, by Merkur, out of Abiza, (by Maharadscha).
Impeccable bloodlines have produced the last remaining son of ABIZA - broodmare of the century - a mare the likes of which few of us are privileged to know once in a lifetime. ADRIAN has carried his family's noble heritage with pride and success, competing for national honours in the U.S. at Third Level dressage and was a consistent winner in the Open Jumper divisions under Chris Kappler. ADRIAN, through his bloodlines, performance record, and now through his offspring, is arguably one of the most important stallions in the sport horse world today. Sire of ABNER, a $10,000.00 two year old and sale topper in the 1995 CSHA Auction at the Royal Winter Fair.

Sport Horse Registry.

The presence of his sire, MERKUR, is evident through his numerous approved stallions and champion competition horses. Apache's dam, ALOUETTE *E*, is also the dam of the ATA approved stallion ASHER, and is an Elite daughter of the immortal ABIZA *E*.
